The first floral motif is now complete. From now on, the pattern will repeat with each row in order to gradually enlarge the shawl. A new floral motif will be added after each fully completed row.
Repeat rows 7 to 10 until you obtain 21 floral motifs (20 repeats), or until you reach the desired shawl length. 🔁 The repeat symbol indicates that only the section within the brackets [ ] should be repeated.
During the first repeat of the pattern, work the bracketed section once, then twice in the next cycle, then three times, and so on.

Once the desired length is reached, do not cut the yarn.
Edging of the shawl
Turn the work to work along the side of the shawl.
– In the chain-3 spaces, work 3 sc.
– In each double crochet, work: 1 sc, ch 3, 1 sl st in the sc, then 2 sc.
– 🔁 Repeat this pattern along the entire length (in each chain-3 space and each double crochet): 1 sc, ch 3, 1 sl st in the sc, then 2 sc.
– When you reach the double crochet just before the magic ring, work ch 3.
– In the magic ring at the tip of the shawl, work: 1 sc, ch 3, 1 sl st in the sc.
– In the next chain-3 space, work ch 3.
– 🔁 Repeat this pattern along the entire second side of the shawl (in each chain-3 space and each double crochet): 1 sc, ch 3, 1 sl st in the sc, then 2 sc.
Once the shawl is finished, cut the yarn leaving a few centimeters, then tie a knot to secure the work.
Remember to block the shawl for a neater finish and a more even, harmonious stitch definition.
